Here’s a good article on the Inquirer about why Microsoft Vista is not an option for at least 1 tech worker.

I’d imagine others are coming to the same realization. I already did several months ago.

  1. That’s just not right.

But only pirates replace their motherboards, right? Or terrorists?

My brother *adores* Microsoft. It makes family computer-geek discussions very painful.

  2. Wait.

They changed that. I woke up *in the middle of the night* and thought of this.

Yes, feel honored that your blog interrupts my sleep.

But seriously - I read this. I wish I had a link. But there was some outcry against this, and it was changed. Reluctantly, I’m sure, but it was.

I’m STILL not going to buy Vista.

In fact, I’m going to go Mac with my next machine, which won’t be for a while: I need my WoW and my Itunes and rather than beating on them in Linux, I’ll just go right to the good stuff. :D
So we can share Mac tips someday, like we used to do with Linux tips!
