First bloom of new life

Some time ago, we had cut down and removed our troublesome apple trees.

We replaced them with Japanese cherry blossoms. I was disappointed to see that two of the trees died, but a third tree in the front yard prospered through the first year. This year, it decided to give us a little hint of what’s in store for us in the many years to come.

I must be getting old, because this is really very exciting to me.

In other news… is there anyone out there subscribed to the feeds on my Asia Albums site? Are they working properly?
