One of the neat little features built in to OS X that makes it a pleasure to use. There are tons of hidden gems on the Mac that I find almost every day. Compare that to Windows, where the only gems you find is what crapware snuck into your system from the last website you visited.
Jeff Jones Security Blog : July 2007 ā Operating System Vulnerability Scorecard
Jeff Jones, who makes a living for himself as a security consultant, has released a scorecard for operating systems as they stood around July 2007.
Not surprisingly, the charts are fodder for everyone to bolster their arguments about which OS is better, which therefore just doesnāt prove much at all⦠except perhaps the definition of the word āfutility.ā
iWeb has me all hot and bothered. You see, I really, really like the simplicity of it. Iām irritated, however, by its reliance on .Mac. I donāt have a .Mac account yet because⦠well⦠I donāt truly own a Mac for myself. I will soon, but I donāt yet. Iām keeping myself away from those special Apple anemities until I actually lay down some greenbacks and feel the full pain.
Iāve heard on several occasions the past few days from various podcasts that Apple is missing the boat on a market segment for businesses ā those folks that want to tear apart PCās and work on them themselves.
Gee⦠didnāt I post something about that a while back? Now why am I not a celebrated blogger? Har har!

So lots of people are buzzing away about the new iMacs. Thatās great. Iām happy about the new iMacs ā they are certainly compelling. If the midrange 20ā³ runs half as well as this 3rd-gen Macbook Pro that landed in my possession yesterday, itāll absolutely rock the hizzouse.
I would like to point out though ā there are several quieter announcements that are a little more compelling ā at least to me. For instance, the Airport Extreme Base Station now has all gigabit wired ports instead of 10/100. Thatās pretty huge to lots of folks Iām sure. Oh, and itās the same price.

I love it when Microsoft uses stealth to make press opps like this.
Wow, okie I suck. Iāve not been posting in a while, I realize this ā but to look over my Adsense and see that I had *2* page impressions yesterday? Hahahaha wow.
Sorry Iāve been MIA folks. Iāve been quite busy. This is the obligatory, āSorry my blog sucks, but Iāve not given it much attention lately.ā By the time I get to Seattle, WA this afternoon, I will have clocked in about 62 hours on the day job this week. Itās things like this that keep me away. Iām sure you understand. If you donāt understand, tough.
